Privacy Policy

This policy covers brocan.co and the products Brocan designs, builds, and runs: BitList (web and iOS) and Faded (iOS, in development). The short version: we collect as little as we can, we do not sell your data, and we are happy to delete what we hold about you if you ask.

What we collect

• This website. brocan.co does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
• Product accounts. When you create an account in one of our products, we store the email address you sign up with and the content you create — for example, the lists, items, and files you add in BitList. We use this data to run the product for you, and for nothing else.
• Support. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you and remember the context next time.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
• We do not use your content for advertising or profiling.
• We do not collect more than the product needs to work.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and payment processing (through the App Store for iOS purchases) — to run our products. They process data only on our behalf and under their own published policies.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Delete your account, or email us, and we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep it.

Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the effective date above.
